I did mine from the top. I even dropped a couple of the real thin shims down where I couldn't see them. A little swipe with the magnet and they were out. Not really that hard, just getting that middle spring out was the only trouble I had.

Truck starts faster than it ever has. I did have to bump the idle back up to the factory specs. Mine idled too low when I was done.



Now i gotta learn how to drive the truck again. It seems to like cruising at around 80 now. It used to start de-fueling at about that speed. Not anymore.

Cheat...

... like I did and just let Piers do it. Dont have to worry about dropping anything, gets adusted correctly, governor lever is done at the same time, idle and other tweaks all performed at the same time. Priced right too.
