RMTDR KDP Killin' Cookout - Oct/Nov 05

When: October 22nd 10am start!

Where: Hi-Tech Motorsports

You guys have asked for it, and here it is! Dyno day at Hi-Tech! These guys love having us out every year. I have already told them we've got some new toys this year... . so lets supprise them again! Last year Chillydog set the Highist Torque number the shop had ever seen!

Price is $50 for 2 CLEAN runs Back to back.

This is on a Dynojet Dyno and has been spot on for HP and torque numbers! They will be driving our trucks on the dyno. Brian does a Very good job at getting the most out of your truck! If he doesn't feel that it was a good run, he'll run it again!

Hi-Tech is in Ramsey, so directions are pretty easy!

Take Hwy 10 to Sunfish Lake BLVD. Go north, after you cross the railroad tracks, take your first right. Go down to almost the end of the street, you will see Airgas, take a left, they are in the first building on the right.

PLEASE Let me know if you are comming and planning on Dyno'ing! I need to have an idea so I can let them know how many trucks to expect! We do need at least 10 trucks to get the $50 rate, but I don't expect that to be a problem.

Well you know I am going to be there, and rolling the rollers, also add Norm to the list of too. I will even pay half his fee to get that oil sipper up there, 28mpg... ... ... ... :) I need that spacer block under my go pedal too... ... ... . :-laf . I know you are reading this Norm, will we get a post from the bio runner? I know you can do it, just click reply... ... ... ... ... . ;) .

got a WI friend that wants to come, he just bought a 01 CTD HO and wants to meet up with ya'll. He also is wondering if we could help him out with a 3 gauge install (pyro, boost, mechanical FPG) and an Edge Comp box? think we could do it? I am willing to help him out, and I think its possible! (other than its going to probably be chilly!)

The Fat Kid

No it's not... . but I thought I would bring it back up!

Josh

Alpha... . You guys can wrench if you'd like as well. The last dyno day that was in Oct wasn't to bad for temps. Mid 60's as I recall.

Right now it looks as if I may be able to make it.

Lemme see, since last time I've added an auto, P-Pump, Custom DV's, Oversized lines, water. Yup. My last run as a basline should be valuable.

Well, it looks as if I won't be able to make it. My work schedule has changed such that I won't be able to make it. That is unless my client doesn't need coverage that day. But that's not likely. Sorry guys. I really did want to lay down some soot.

i dont know about proporly valved more like under valved trucks might get beat on... ... ... . we'll just have to wait and see

The Slow Kid

Andy

Oh boy... ... ... ... now we are the "slow kid". Must be having some real withdrawls from having injectors.

Aron, sorry to hear that you won't make it. Was looking forward to seeing you one last time before the snow flys. Maybe have to cruise down there some weekend.

Chilly, you just better keep that clutch together till then.

See you guys later Jim.

Josh,

When do you need to know if one is going to dyno? Maybe if I buy a truck soon enough I can have my dad drive the truck up for me and run it. Hopefully the doctor's will have put me in a walking cast by then and turned me loose. I was glad to have made it to the wrench day, but it killed me to just sit there and not being able to help or show my own truck. I will let you know in the next week or so if that is ok? If I don't get one by then I will try and to make it to give support to everyone.

Randy

Just let me know whenever you can. It was great to have you out at the Wrench day! I'm sorry I wasn't able to chat more, but I tend to get pulled in 100 directions at once.

The reason I need to know is so I can tell the Boys at Hi-tech how many people we will have so they can get to the shop at the proper time and have enough staff.

Josh

So... who's commin?!

I think I just found an issue that has been plagueing me for a LONG TIME!

I'm amaized at my newfound power!

I've never even ridden in anything that will roll a dually when it shifts to 2nd!

Goodbye Milage!

Josh

well, I might be out for the dyno... this clutch I put in, well sucks. its fine for driving and anything 3x3 or less on the edge box, but 5x5, it wont hold all the time, so basicly I would be pissin 50 bucks into the wind to run it :{

Actually, you might not. Thier dyno is not strong enough to hold our trucks back with any real kind of load. So your clutch might hold on just fine. You're only spinning a 4,000 lb mass versus trying to motivate your 7,000+ lb truck. Just my thought.

So true Aron, that is how Chilly gets by with running his on the dyno and still comes out with great numbers.

Josh, you get Mach 5 cleaned up? Heard it was a mess after last weeks storm. When I got into work the next morning I helped getting 5 large pines out of the recieving dock driveway, was a good time... ... ... . lol. Although there are still some 12 trees to clean up. Was quiet the storm.

I think a couple from DTR will be coming, other than John. I have gotten a couple of pm's about it, I told them to contact you, but I did reply and steer them in the direction of the post.

Do you have a post on the Power Choker site and the Maxi site? Just wondering, cause I like the look in the owners eyes of a Ferd after they just spent all kinds of money on their truck, go spin the rollers, and see the results, and how proud they stand, with a big smile on there face looking at their numbers. Until a mighty 5. 9 gets on with minimal amount of aftermarket parts on and blow the numbers of that owner away. :( The look is priceless, or as in our first year, some get just down right teed off.
