RMTDR KDP Killin' Cookout - Oct/Nov 05

Hey Matt,

I don't want to bother you guys with my truck. I do appreciate it though, for now I will just leave it stock. I did install a BHAF on it Saturday when I got it home, the silencer ring was already MIA :-laf. I got my dad taking my old heat shield off old truck to put on this. If I do get the parts maybe help with the exhaust would be nice. I have a question for you all should I go with new MBRP 4" SS or use my old 4" aluminized of old truck. I kept everything when I put stacks on. It would save a few hundred bucks.

Thank you,

Randy

I found that my shutoff solonoid was not pulling up all the way. Basically giving me only 2/3- 3/4 rack travel. With that and 191 delivery valves... . I'm all :D

Josh

OK Nice! Oo. I wish I could tell what I have for rack travel. All that I do know is that the governor wasn't allowing full rack travel before I took my pump out of the truck and calibrated it. I set it up aways when I calibrated the pump, and now have since slid the plate ahead and adjusted the governor lever. Now i'm debating on finding a different plate. Anyone got one that they want to sell? What did you think of the switch from the #6 to #0 Josh? I've also got some turbo ideas in mind but I think that will be aways down the road. I'm back to my local part-time job so I can help during the harvest season, which is alright. Pay's the payment's.

Thinking more along the lines of a weed killer... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . lol. Seems that when I wash my truck in the yard and the rinse water turns black as it runs over the exhaust exit onto the grass, it seems to kill everything green.

If you are thinking about ordering any parts for your truck for the dyno run please have them too me by Oct 17 if you want them by for Oct 22nd... ... ... thanks Jim. :D

How about some level 3 squirters? :-laf I wish, if they are cheep enough, i might go for it... . but then definately I would be buying a clutch thats worth a damn! :-laf

Anyone have a turbo laying around they wana slap on my truck for the hell of it?

Also, debating if I should part it out, or sell the '95 12v CTD I have. if I should part it (honestly in your opinions) would any of you want parts... or if any of you want it whole... should I bring it with for any of you?

Alpha... if I was you... I'd keep it. That way when your VP dies again, you can pull an Aron and make your 24v Properly pumped! :-laf

hahaha, yeah yeah yeah. sounds like way to much work to me. plus, for how much I would end up spending on rebuilding the p pump, and the work needed on the 24v to make it all work, I could buy alot of VP-44s... . plus I am interested in this "other" pump Jim is squaking about! :-laf

Matt, I have had a chance to see and hear Aron's truck since he did the p-pump conversion and it is a clean and radical job. I can't wait to convert mine when my VP dies again.

How much for the 95???? I guess I could get an early start on the parts list! See what you have gone and did to me... got my adrenaline pumping just after 6 am and I haven't even finished my 2nd cup of coffee... or is it my 2nd pot?

Clutch master cylinder

Well, the clutch master cylinder is on it's way out. After a bit at a stop light with the clutch pedal depressed, the truck tries to move on it's own. A little unnerving the first time! Anyway, SBC is closed right now, so I can't talk to them, but I plan on calling them tomorrow. Is that what others have done, or where have you gone?

Thanks,

Will
