I'm still planning on coming as long as things go good this week, but I don't think I'll be spinning the rollers. I retorqued my head yesterday, so I finally got on it. It doesn't make much more boost at wot than at just over half throttle. Stays within range for temp without the box on, but when I turn it on, it'll wrap the gauge. Good news though, a ps 64 showed up at my shop today, I never even knew it was coming... but no downpipe, so I can't put it on yet.

Hey guys, i'm the friend of Matt's (Alphacowboy) that is planning on coming. I was going to install the Edge Comp and gauges, but I already got that done. We plan on installing a new VP44 now, I don't know how long the lift pump was dead before I installed the gauges (I actually think it was dead when I bought the truck). I put on a FASS fuel system to bypass the lift pump. I will have it ran on the dyno also.

BTW, if I don't get new tires, traction is a problem on pavement. I can break things lose in 3th on a roll, 4th, depends, 50% of the time... . you think this may be a problem?

I don't think that will be a problem at all..... They only use 4,000lbs rollers.



They can and do strap these trucks down VERY tightly.

Josh I should be there 9:30-10ish, depends on when I meet up with with one the DTR members, Joe from WI that wants to follow me over. Sounds as if high is going to be 48-50*. Guess with temps like that changing out a VP won't be that bad, since the engine will be warm. Anything you need me to bring Josh?

If any of you guys that want to run on the Dyno can get here a little earlier, say 9. That would be great. I talked to the boys at Hi-tech last night and due to the number of trucks, they would like us to show up a little earlier. They are going to shoot for 3 trucks an hour.

hmmm I might wanna run more then 2 pulls. do they have the same basic rates to do more? I was thinking a stock base line, Edge on 5/5 and 5/4 and 5/3, maybe a 4/5 and 4/3... Some new information points to the fact that 5/5 isn't the best

Well this is a little off the subject, but over on the DTR site they started a map of members. I pm'ed to Josh and decided to create one for TDR members. Now I hope that I am not out of pocket copying anothers idea, I just thought it woould be a great idea.

Well... . that you'll have to talk to them about. In the past... . as I recall it was $25 for 2 more pulls... . but you'd have to be last. You might be better off talking to them and getting a rate for something like that.

Matt(alpha), his friend and I are going to try and get there early maybe 9:00 or 9:30. I just have to confirm this with Matt but it sounds like what he was planning on. Talk to you Saturday, I am curious what my new truck will put out for stock. I will try and bring a few pictures of my poor old truck. Makes me :{ when I see it in person.
