The truck in the pic is mine. . I tried running it one time in Bowling Green, KY. . Only lasted a few seconds, though it still made a part throttle pass at 94 mph in the eighth on diesel only. Had lots of potential then. . I then had a billet cam and new cooling system installed. It's now at Jeff Garmons' shop in Georgia. . He's rebuilding the motor, lowering the compression, doing headwork, rewiring the complete truck, installing electric fans, and making it a single with nitrous setup instead of the Big brother SPS 66 twins setup. Oh, he's also installing the air conditioning back in the truck. . =) I have the Hybrid BB with Poole twins piping, 120 stainless lines, and a new water meth kit sitting in the garage waiting for Ebay. It's actually for a 2nd gen. . I was hoping to get the truck back for Texas, though it didn't happen. . I can still work on suspension, though motor wise it's everything Jeff can currently do. . He said his goal for the truck was 10. 99 or better on the single turbo running on diesel only. . With nitrous, he said it would be down in the nines. . I hope his goals become reality. He's also finishing up all the loose ends that need to be completed . They were even going to see if they could find someone to paint it. The paint is there with the truck. . I can't wait to do some cruising and racing with it. .
That trailer was also too small. . I bought a new 12 ton electric tilt trailer with a 27 foot deck to have plenty of room for the truck and pit vehicles. I should be set up for next year. I'm also moving from Florida in the next few months back to the hills in KY. I'll be an hour from the Bowling Green track. Can't wait. .
