3rd gen band adjustment

Do yo need to adjust the band's on the 3rd gen? my friends trans seems different and with almost 60k on it I thought maby it needed adjustment.

I check mine when I drop the pan. I adjust to 1/4 inch of play as per my transmission mans recommendations.

The service interval is either a 100k or 120k; I can't remember. But either way you're still way out from that so I wouldn't worry about it till your first ATF change. I can't see DC requireing an adjustment before a fluid change. Seems more logical to have it done while in for tran service.
