3rd gen into a 2nd gen

I know its been asked butt i didnt c any topics a few pages back so ill start a new one



Whats needed to add a 3rd gen to a 2nd gen ?? Say i have a engine do i need any special wiring ? or would i just need the whole harness from a 3rd gen? thx for any info

you need all the harness/wiring and if its an 05, you need the dash to headlight wiring complete to get the portion you need to go into the cab and connect to the fuel pedal

(which you also need to buy) - sorting this out is pretty technical, we are pretty much always installing into a chevy or ford, then there's the cruise control ..... lol

I've been thinking about a 3rd Gen in my '97. It would be nice to have a quieter engine with more power.
