I think a lowered truck with a gooseneck ball and matching horse trailer looks cool. I have seen one that was exceptionally awesome looking, even though I am not a fan of slammed trucks. It had full bag air suspension, air suspension on the tongue of the gooseneck, and fancy rims/tires on the trailer as well. I agree some trucks look very stupid, even fugly, but if they still serve a purpose, then they are ok in my books. .
A Lowered 1 ton is no less practical than some of the people on these boards who buy a heavy duty truck, only to put a cover over the bed. What good is that?! I thought that is how you tow real-sized trailers! Sure, you can pull alot of weight on the bumper, but the big boys load it in the bed! I am not trying to start any kind of flames here, but this is a good way to compare the 2. I realize you cannot get a Diesel in a light duty truck, but still. If you buy a truck, and then gripe about the bed getting scratched or dirty, that scares me. Sorry, just had to voice my $. 02 worth.
