I had my ball joints replaced today. At the same time we were replacing the track bar with the solid steel bracket & bar. Question is, the bolt that goes through the hole to attach the bracket where the old track bar was is to small for any of the bolts that came with the hardware kit. Called the factory and they said just drill it out. But wouldn't the taper still be an issue with the bolt? I have also been told that in the early years of the 94, mine being a Dec 93 issue, that they did have a lighter weight track bar with a smaller bolt/link end. Does anyone have any knowledge about this. I don't mind drilling the bracket on the truck, just don't want to make a big mistake. Thanks, Ken

I taper reamed my 94 out way back when... ... ... . the later bars were $100 less than the early for a while. No worries just drill it out(easier said than done) you will be fine.
