2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 3rd gen upper & lower suspension arms to 2nd gen

Received a set of upper & lower suspension arms with low miles & was told this helps the 2nd gen steering... . Anyone done it? Any tips?

I"ll help with a bump. And you're not the only one. There was a thread along the same vain back in the summer. A search might turn it up. I don't recall the forum, but it delt with 3rd gen control arms and 2nd gen trucks.

You might be able to use the lowers since they are nearly identical lengths but the tops are quite a bit shorter than the second Gen. You may want to take a tape measure and measure it from bolt hole to bolt hole. Also the upper arm bolt hole are larger on the 3rd gen than the 2nd so you may run into issues there. Hope this helps.

actually, a shorter upper might actually help in suspension feel and death wobble. As long as its not that much different.
