Anyone try these trans pans?

I believe a valve with more clearance will run cooler not hotter. The valve to seat contact is how it disapates heat to the head. A couple of mine were a little loose at 40K. The middle of spec. is good for stock engines,but if a modded engine is capable of higher EGT's than stock I would go towards the loose side of spec.
 
O. K. I'am understanding.

So if a looser clearance means cooler valves but hotter cylinder temps were's the happy medium ground? Especially on a modified engine when your trying to keep EGT's and theoretically cylinder temperatures down?
