2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 3rd generation rims on 02?

want to put 04 crome rims on my 02. have seen 2nd gen truck with the alum

style on it but stock 265s. want to put 285s on mine. have been told offset is slightly different? anyone else done this? any problems? thanks Luke

I believe the offset is the same for '01-'02 trucks on to the 3rd gens.



With the steel wheels the rear caps will not fit over the hub without modification. The alum wheels are a direct swap with the 3rd gen caps.
