3rd Radio

Well, I am now on my 3rd radio. 1st one just plain died. Second one, no GPS, and the uconnect subscription wouldn,t activate. The "new" reconditioned one, seems to have the
same Sirrus serial number as somebody else. I spent an hour on the phone with Sirrus but that didn't help. Other than that, everything else works....so far.

So, my question is, can the dealer change the serial number to the one that was on the old radio? I am suspicious about this because my second radio had the same serial
number as the first radio.

Sirrus solved the problem. It was on their end.

I keep thinking I need to buy that extended warranty.... I kinda wanted to wait to see if Fiat was going to sell or merge Ram with someone else. I hate to spend 2k and the warranty that may be worthless if that happens.

I had bought the extended warranty, but this was covered under the factory warranty due to the history.
