Yes you can get a 4. 10 in a C&C truck with the Aisin transmission. But the Aisin is the 69RC which is different than the pick-up trucks Aisin. This is per the Ram body builders guide.

Thanks, there are many cab/chasis /Aisin in stock in our area but all have 3. 73 or 3. 42, don't understand why they don't order some with the 4. 10 for work trucks.

I was once a "non-believer" in the 3:42 gears for towing, but the lower powered(370hp/800tq) 68RFE tows as well as my 2012 3500 Max tow with 4:10s could have done. If your buying a Aisin, I think they get the high torque motor. You shouldn't have a bit of trouble towing with 3:72 . 4:10's would be for EXTREME towing IMHO with that set up. When not towing, your truck becomes a freeway king and fuel miser with the 3:42's.

There are a lot of 2013's on the ground in our local area now. I have only been able to find one Aisin/4:10 combo in dealer stock to test drive. Everything else is 3. 42 or 3. 73.

I have found some 4. 10 Rams (dually) but also some dually Rams with 3. 42. Somehow it seems to me that by the time you need a dually, you also need the 4. 10s. After all, the dually with 3. 42 has about the same tow rating as the SRW Ram 3500.
