Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
well my son and I, hit the junkyards yesterday. (we needed parts for the wifes suburban) I ran across a idler thingy on a Quadrajet carb and took it off, thinking "I could make something with this" I payed $2 for it and we left. I stoped by Radio Shack and picked up a nice low profile rocker switch, paid $2. 12 for it.
I got home and measured it, cut the bracket and welded it back on at an 90 degree angle and put it on the truck, using a bolt that was already on the bracket. I wired the switch in, and fired it up and set the idle to 1200RPM's.
the whole thing fits under the plastic cover and works like a champ.
