Who's offering a $4,500 cash allowance. Basically, these offers are applied to the total down payment on the new vehicle.

Here in NJ, the most you can get is $1,500 cash back/allowance or special financing deals. According to www.dodge.com, they are offering $4,500 on the Durangos and $3,500 on select Caravans.

PHuckleberry, I think a cash allowance is where the dealer gets XXXX dollars from the factory for selling a certain vehicle. How much they pass on to the purchaser is up to them. Plus does the allowance come off MSPR or a certain amount over invoice. What you end up paying in the end is what really matters. KL

Just saw the Racer ad and they had 4500 listed, of course there are catches but it goes so fast that it could be deceiving.

Ran a bunch of zip codes thru the Dodge rebate site and most of the mid to east states have 1500 for the reg/quad 2500/3500. The west is at 2000 for all the zips I ran. Some areas the 1500 is 2500 but thats about the highest I saw (Durangos/Caravans @ 4500/3500).

Oh, whell, mine is "locked" at 2k since March and it dont look like it will get better b4 the order gets here (SantaRosa rail yard Wed 6:29am) then needs to move to the dealer... .

Might get it next week (if, IF they got the e-brake and other "stuff"). May drive out 2 look at it @ the rail yard (may have to sit for a day or 2 till unloaded  ) NAH, just wait till it crosses past me on the way south... .

SOON 2b the "SOTSU" agn..... :D

There is something that pops up on the computer from time to time that is another $500..... if you see it email me. I need it.

Could it be the $500 off you get for joining the Farm Bureau? I joined for $15, waited 30 days to get the certificate, and took $500 extra off when I took delivery. You need to push the point with the dealer. Some don't like to do it, because they have to wait a while for their money. I think most states have a Farm Burea, and you don't need to be connected with farming to join. Can't be used with other commercial use deals.

I test drove an 03 yesterday - nice but I'll pass at this time - my 98 has too many goodies to give up.

They offered me deal that is hard to pass up.

Invoice - minus $2000 rebate and minus $750 if vet with Honorable discharge. At least $7000 below sticker - close to what I paid for my 98.

I saw a couple of $500 pop ups toward the end of last month and printed one of them out... you had to take delivery by April 30th. On that ad, you had to have printed it out from the website and then present the "coupon" to the dealer. It was good with all other offers but I haven't seen one since.

Here is a kick in the pants! The dealer that ordered an 03 with my specs is also a Ford dealer. He can sell me a Dodge and go thru FoMo Credit and get me 4. 49% for 5 years. Sign me up!

Ben,

Your not "locked" in to a March rebate because you ordered it then. Rebates are based on delivery date and your ZIP code. I ordered mine in Dec. 02 and when finally delvd in Feb My rebate and "power days" discount went up by $2k. Good luck and enjoy your new rig!

Coolcharters, I mean that that is the minimum I'll get (put a down on it to "lock" it at that min). If the rebates go up, then I'll get them but if they go away (and we know they now gud till June) I wouldnt have lost the 2k. Now if I can talk them into the 750$ vet (which is advertised here on the Caravans/Jeeps) rebate it will assist. Still the 2500 aint bad (Farm Bureau +2k) and then there is the price we agreed to.....

For all of you who are taking the rebates, are you applying them to your "cash down" figure or the purchase price (i. e. lowering the pre tax purchase price)?

Ryan

$2500 rebate

I went to the Dodge/Cummins website on 6-5-03. The new incentive for the 2500/3500 is $2500. 00; the period it's available is 6-3-03 to 7-31-03. In the alternative, instead of the $2500 incentive, you can have 0. 0 APR financing for 36 mos, 1. 9% APR financing for 48 months, or 2. 9% APR financing for 60 months. I only checked Idaho and Oregon zip codes.

Do not overlook Business link-- they are offering an EXTRA $1000

See your dealer for business link info. Also Farm Bureau for $500 if you cannot get B. Link

Here in Georgia I was told two days ago rebates were $2500 on diesels and special finace this month only of 3. 9 for 60 months. Dealer told me would sell at invoice minus $2500 minus $1000 coupon and 3. 9 percent.
