4" Allied Muffler - Will I need a resonator?

Will be installing a 4" Allied muffler with a CAT test pipe. Have heard good things about the Allied muffler, but have not personally heard one. I hear some members talking about resonators... ... will I need one with this type of set-up? Any comments on the sound of a 4" Allied muffler?

I had an Allied on my truck for a while, and it was perfectly fine sounding. Since I have gone the straight route,and it is MORE perfectly sounding. If sound or shall I say loudness is your concern the Allied will more than address the loudness-yet it will still have the agressiveness Good luck
