4" BullyDog Exhaust users -

Just curious who runs one of these systems? I got a new one to replave my current exhaust mainly due to the great deal I got. I am perfectly happy with my JRE system but just wanted to try something different out (and my old muffler full of oil still).



So how do they sound???? I got the "aggressive" muffler.



Exhaust + B1 turbo go on the truck tommorrow.

Bully DOG exhaust

kat, i have 2/3 of a Bully dog system. 'course, the 1/3 i don't have is what you're interested in. my downpipe and tail pipe look and sound great!! (i used a long truck muffler with the downpipe and tailpipe purchased from doug at ADT). my system sounds great... ... ... ... ...

HI Kat, what kinda muffler does the BD system have.



I loved the low and high rpm sound of my Jannetty system but the drone on the hwy drove me crazy.

My Jannetty had about a quart of oil in it too after the Kwikspool went KaBoom. I looked downthe Jannetty and saw the chamber in that muffler and figured this was how the thing sounded so good at lower rpms. Still not sure why the heck the Jannetty droned so bad on the hwy though. After a change to the Walker 21471 the drone was gone. The truck is quieter too.

Not sure how to take that part yet.



I wanna know how the B-1 works on your truck after you get it all on.

I have the bullydog 4 inch and love it great sound easy install and no drone at any speed or rpm. good luck on the b-1 now i have turbo envy along with comp envy airbulldog envy yada yada yada

I have the BD system straight piped. There is a drone about 2300 RPM, but it has a commanding bark in town that I love.

Eric I have the Bully Dog 4" from Turbo back and like it very much... . I haven't had anything else but stock so not much to compare with... . My wife say's it sounds like a School Bus... LOL I know that's not what you wanted to hear. . But I do Like it. Not sure if I would know what this Drone everyone talks about would sound like, so have no comment on that. Let us know how you like it once it's installed compared to the JRE

I don't think overfilling it hurts anything... . it just helps to lubricate the muffler bearings.

aggie, i was under the impression that if you over filled the muffler fluid, the muffler bearings would eventually fail because the extra fluid will blow the muffler bearing seals out?????

Dunno? I couldn't find a name or anything on it. Its just a 4" straight through, Andy at ADT might be able to tell us, I'll ask him.

Kat, I have a Bully Dog 4' turbo back with a 5" Genos chrome tip (Can you say "SuperFly" ??) I like it; slight drone @ 2100, but not too bad. I have no other system to compare it to, all of my friends drive GM's.

Its on..... and still trying to get used to the idle of it. Other then that it seems ok, although haven't had my window down much with it being less then 10° alot and snowing.



Right now... on the sound basis... I prefer JRE over this BullyDog. We'll see tho..... again this is just first impression.
