I have a 05 any one know what the number should be. Trying to find out without pulling them. I think I need some new ones.

Thanks,

Mike

If you are looking for tip replacements... the complete bosch number is 10 digits not 4. Call Keith at Diesel Dynamics I am no aware of replacement tips. If you do change tips... make sure to get them calibrated to the right oening pressure.

if you are buying some from someone and need the number, you can get it without tearing the truck down. twist off the oil cap and get a flash light. the numbers are usually visible if looking down at number 1. at least they were on mine. :D

The Bosch "number type" is DSLA124P1309. The Bosch "order number" is 0433175390

If you need new tips for that truck then our SPRINT 1309 are a direct replacement. But most injector failures are either a cracked holder or an eroded check-ball seat. What makes you think it's a nozzle/tip?

Just curious Kerma, but what is the holder you are referring to?

Nozzle holder, better known by some as an "injector body". Maybe it's not the right terminology for the common rail injectors, I'm just used to calling them "nozzle holders"

That's what I thought, I just wanted to confirm. :D
