Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 4" Exhaust Help

Putting a new exhaust on my 1998 12valve and was looking for some help on a system, who likes or dislikes any mfg's systems and the reasons.

i did Hog's 4 inch on mine was easy to do and was pretty easy i did however tack weld all the joints as a few of the clamps seemed to let things move a little on our rough roads

I put a 4" Silverline from Geno's on mine. I replaced the u-bolt clamps with formed band clamps when I installed it.

The system is the cheaper stainless system, and it has begun to rust some. However I really like how well the system fit and how easy it was to install. I think it sounds great too, just a little louder than stock.

I used MBRP. The only disappointing part is they would not sell the kit without the muffler. I had to buy the muffler delete kit.

Get a Pinnacle Performance exhaust. I had one on my truck. It lasted 7 years up here in New York. I've since went to a 5 inch exhaust. The Pinnacle exhaust is an excellent value. Just my opinion. Pinnacle Performance Diesel Exhaust Systems

our most popular selling kit is the MBRP. they fit great and now come w/ band clamps on the stainless kits.

The Magnaflow ends are expanded and when you go to Peterbilt or Intl. ask for the 4" ID/OD pre-fit 90. Mine comes out right before the rear wheels.

I have a true straight 4" from the down pipe back to the beginning of the truck bed. 4 inch 90 up to a 41/2 in t-pipe I made my self in to 4 in 90 turn out stacks... . it looks really good all for about 100 dollars
