Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 4" exhaust

I still have the stock exhaust. You can see my mods... I would REALLY like to drop the EGT 100°f to 150°f. In the REAL world after all the marketing hype and BS, what improvment have you guys found regarding EGT and larger exhaust. I like the present sound level and could tolerate a LITTLE more, but that is not what I am after. Has anyone done before and after testing??

I have just increased to a 4" from the exhaust brake to the rear. I tow a 33' 5th wheel and on the first towing the EGT's did not go above 750. This was a great improvement from before. This was also done while going up a good grade. Hope this helps. Mike

dollar for dollar a 4" exhaust with a 4" outlet on turbo and a bhaf will drop the temp like you want

A 4 inch system will get you an average of 150-175 by itself. Give us a call we have systems in aluminized, 409 and 304 stainless as well as the AFE PG 7 intakes that will get you all you need to drop the EGT's.
