4 inch exhaust restriction

I'm looking in to 4 inch exhaust but if you look at where it mounts to the turbo it looks like its 3 inch or smaller. My question is how much restriction does that spot make and if its really worth it to buy that banks elbow thats 4 inch and 4inch down pipe. Or should I just buy the 4 inch and not worry about the start of the pipe. I attached a picture of what I'm talking about.



Also is 5 inch really needed or not I'm probably only looking at max of 500 HP

if u're worried about restriction buy a hx 40 with 4" out the back. the hx 35 is three inch out the back. And the next place to look is in the bends over and behind the rear end. J. Jardines has the best angle in bends and has the best as far as less restrictive at the turbo. truthfully, i wouldn't worry about the turbo mount.

look at the bend over the rear end about 150-160 degrees and a 90 degree bend behind the rear end. Thats just wrong. I think i know who's it is but i'm not opening my mouth any more. But when shopping for exhaust keep in mind the degree angle. I think that u'll see that J. Jardines is the best with Stan's exhaust running a close second.

If the exhaust exits before the rear tire that would be less bends and less restriction but I dont like the looks of it as much.
