Well I installed one of Rip Rooks systems not thinking it would help much more than the cool factor. I was wrong. My turbo spools faster helping the low end power noticably. My EGT's don't climb nearly as fast either. Is it worth the money? You bet!

i bought a magniflow system from rip as well, he carrys nice stuff, i used his downpipe, everything went perfect. i needed it for my egts... but exhaust has a nice tone and no drone. plus it is stainless... .

Depends on what you're doing with the truck. Here in the mtns. towing 12k, it reduced my EGT's 125 to 150 degrees.

I did a bunch of research before purchasing my 4" system and ended up, very happily, with the system from Diesel Performance Parts, Inc. It was the only system I found (at the time) that had the factory-style hangers pre-mounted and re-used all factory mounting locations. I found putting it on the truck was extremely easy as all parts fit together nicely. A slight increase in noise, but no "drone" and about 50F lower EGT's, average. My stock system had rotted out where the pipe goes up over the rear axle. I priced the piece-parts of the system from the local Dodge dealer and it worked out to be only about $100 more for the DPPI stainless system. Excellent customer service as well.
