4" muffler

Who has the best price on 4" mufflers please show some prices and phone ##'s also who has the best flow through.

Walker 21471 @ NAPA, supposedly Walkers best flowing muffler, ~$95. Dynomax Race Magnum @ Summit, similar to the Walker only smaller and therefore louder, $59. 95.



Whatever you end up with try to stay away from chambered mufflers. Apparently they are not the best performers on a Turbo vehicle.

How does the banks preform, I'm runing Strights with out muffler and am concidering trying one if it isnt to passive sounding.

Jardine's rule

I had several good long talks with Jerry Jardine this past weekend and he said his mufflers have "zero" restriction. and that his complete system flows much better than stock and some others on the market.



I have the 12770 magnaflow on my truck with Jardine's 4" kit stem to stern and LOVE IT.



BTW it is cheap $$$ too. he had a show special going for $420 + free shipping.



if you want it to be heard get the kit and specify you want the 12770 muffler. if you want it to be quiet (like stock) just get his regular kit.



or just order the muffler alone.

I agree ToddT. Jerry is a nice guy to deal with. I installed his 4" kit on my 01. 5 and it fits great (2hrs total R&R). I have no drone. I also have a deeper tone exhaust that I noticed is quieter in the cab.
