Just brought home a Texas Bragg 4x8 utility trailer for my girlfriend's mom. It was not wired properly from the factory and the saleslady said 2 wires were switched and I said I would fix it and she gave us a discount.

Have it home now and the white wire was not grounded. We grounded it and hooked everything back up. Turn signals work, brakes work, but no tail/running lights at all.

We are clueless. Unfortunately electrical, yes, even 12 volt, has never been easy for me!

Any help? Thanks

Should have a common brown wire running to both tail lamps for running lamps. Four pins include wires as follows:

Yellow (Left Turn Signal & Brake)

Green (Right Turn Signal & Brake)

Brown (Running Lamps)

White (Ground)

Check for a break in the brown wiring to the lights.

Thanks,

We singled it out to being a problem with the Expedition's wiring. The ground is good, yellow, green both good, but the brown is not getting any power to it.

The trailer tail lamp relay is good, so its between the relay and the plugs (7-pin and 4-pin).
