The lever looked okay when I had everything apart. Now with it assembled the throttle is sticking like the lever is riding under the plate.

Where should I adjust the LEVER to strike the #4 plate?

I'm calling TST now, but want to see what yall think too.

I adjusted mine so that the lever touches about . 06 below the tip that sticks out the farthest to the rear of the truck. I found that the adjustment would move a little when I tightened up the screw so I set it just a little lower and then tightened it up. Just for the record, the lever will slide under the plate if it is anywhere near mid to front position. Oh yea - one more thing - get ready for some smoke...

That's just it, I don't quite get which protrusion PDR is talking about:

For cam plates, like a TST #6 for example, that have a taper at the very bottom of the plate, adjust the lever so the lever hits at the tip of the bottom nose on the plate. It is OK to be slightly below that. However too far down causes the lever to be held back as the RPM's rise. This

causes the loss in bottom end power, with the sudden surge as the lever finally clears the nose and hits the main fueling curve.

On the #6 plate I see the bump below the largest "hump". Is that a nose or no nose?

I left the adjustment alone. I'll twiddle with it when we put it on the stand.

I don't have to push up the valve, it's on a

manual cable.

OH, and the sticking part was the throttle cable--it had frayed some more. Got the recall done today.
