4" rip rook

I recieved my exhuast the other day and as soon as I pulled it out of the box well... ... I got all hot a bothered! That stuff is huge! Got it on today and it looks really nice and has a nice sound to it in town but out on the highway it has kind of a moan and is fairly loud in the cab. Anyone else have this or is it just me?

Do you have a turn-down tip? If not, installing one may throw the sound away from the cab more (It helped my noise level).

Rip Rooks Exhaust

I installed Rip's exhaust last month. Love that deep sound, I have the 5" straight tip at the end. Excellent product! Rick.

I must say that the exhuast really helped the truck out alot. Turbo lag is nill and smoke is almost non-existant. Before the smoke was thick and black when ever I would hammer it and now it is just a gray haze. The temps are also at least 100* lower than what they were. I guess I am going to have to turn the pump up??????????????

I had Rip put a small resonator in front of the muffler and have no resonance in the cab. also did you move the muffler closer to the engine than stock?

Nope we cut the pipe so the muffler went back into the original location. Its actually quieted down a little since I put it on combination of my mind playing tricks on me and a little soot softening things inside I think.
