4 stroke kicker advice

I am planning on purchasing a new(8 or 9. 9, 4 stroke, long shaft) kicker for my boat. I want something that starts easily, idles smoothly and runs quietly. The main power on my boat is a 115 Merc and I would prefer to get another Merc, but any comments, suggestions pro and con are appreciated.

I've had a 9. 9 Honda 4-stroke for years and years... . it ALWAYS runs. I was just looking at one on ebay for a boat I've got that needs a kicker.
