I was just wandering If any TDR members are headed to the 4-wheel Jamboree In Indianapolis this weekend . Their usually are alot of truck pulls and stuff. It would be nice if the cummins would dominate!

My club went to the one in Canfield, OH in July. There was 1 green 2500 quad cab Cummins in the pull offs, but guys from my club ('91 chevy crew cab long bed 454 on 35's and a '84 Suburban with a built 454 on 38's) beat him pretty easily unfortunately. I think the time to get the turbo spooled up killed him, they had already dragged him a bit by the time the power came on and then they managed to hold him there, he never gained any ground back. It had to be a little modified judging by the smoke, but probably not overly. He didn't do so well in the burnouts either. Neither did the power choke. :) I didn't have the guts to enter my Ram in either. . :D

All in all it was a blast though, and I even picked up a scratch and dent tuffy console from Quadratec for my Jeep for $75 (minor scratches). . 1/3rd the price is nice.

I dont think so

but I was heading back from the indiana border through Illinois yesterday, and saw a lot of nice trucks headed that way. :D

Do you have a link for more info about this? I didn't realize there even was one this weekend in Indy. Too caught up in the recent news.

Thanks,

Ryan
