The environmentalists oath.

I was at a atv dealership yesterday looking at a few used 4 wheelers, and the dealer showed me one that he had new and I thought was a pretty good deal. What do you guys think. Its a 2000 suzuki 250 quadrunner 4x4. he wants $3600. 00 for it. It sells new for $4900. 00. does anyone have a Suzuki 4 wheeler? Do you like it? It sounds like a good deal to me.

Heres the specs on it.

Thanks Jason

I have two Suzuki 250s. They are small compared to alot of the new design machines out now, but I'm quite satisfied with my machines. I like the fact that I can run in two wheel drive, and have 4 wheel differential lock. I've used many machines, and have come to the conclusion that all the ATV manufactures put out good products. To me price is a strong consideration. Even though the 250 is rather small these days, it's always been adaquite for my proposes. I've hauled out Moose and caribou, and a Hondas & a Polaris. Someday I suspect a Honda or other will hual out my Suzuki. That price seems like a good deal to me. . Personnally I prefer the smaller machices, better milage, plus where I go I deal with a lot of mud, the lighter machines are easier to get unstuck. Me, I'd buy it. Happy 4-wheelin!

Sounds reasonable,, My Dad suprised my and my Brother by buying two used four-wheelers (A dream come true!)

We paid $8K walking out the door, that included helmets, and loading ramps, and full tanks of gas.

I have a '98 Warrior that's tricked wayyy out. I'm darn sure it has a hi-po cam and piston,, no low-end but it screams once the revs are up. I got this ATV stuck Once,, in mud,, and believe me,, Me and my cousin had about 1. 5Hrs of work to try to pull this thing out.

My Brother got a 2000 Honda Recon, it's 250 (actually 239cc) with a 5-speed semi-automatic,, that thing is more than fast enough, tops out around 55MPH. and has a descent ride. Also it floated right over the mud where I got my four-wheeler stuck in.

The Price you are talking about sounds right. and if you are looking for a work ATV a 4x4 small four-wheeler will do you good. The rides are generally nice, but usually a bit bouncy.

the smaller ones are much more manuverable also.

I don' think that I can go wrong for that price. Besides, its still brand new. Only 1 mile on the OD. Everyone I talk to says its too small. I think it will be just fine for what I want. Mostly hunting, and trail riding. Im going to talk to them tommorow. Dont want to miss up on a deal like this.

Later
