Let's see a sheet Robert. The only number from Wade's truck I ever saw was 225hp less than that number and that was on the spray .

Who said he was talking about wade's truck????

There are a couple of the fastest CR's running this very tune and setting CR records... .

I know wade comes off harsh sometime but his intentions are good... :)

He just needs to catch a break and he WILL run the number or faster..... :D

the rating is OVER stock hp

so if you have 300 now put this on and you will have close to 600hp with supporting mods.

some of the testers are making well over 900hp:D

DUH :eek: What was I thinking.

So, tell us what it does as far as torque curve peak and flatness. Do you limit the peak torque, or allow the option for those that don't want to bust the transmission in the midrange, but still want the top end?

The ultimate hp obviously depends on fuel and air flow, so bigger injectors and bigger turbo/intercooler are a must at that rpm, or the torque will drop like a rock.

I think a lot of people would be interested in maintaining a flat torque to 3500-3600, so they don't have to change springs/cam/lifters etc in going to 4100. Can you do that? A user adjustable redline?

First thing we need to do is drop this 300 flywheel horsepower crap, what does it put to the ground:D.

Right on! I understood that just about everyones number they spit out was a WHEEL Horse Power number... Please do not change it to make your numbers look better at first glance. It's a sure fire way to lose credibility, well, you would for sure in my book.

So, 300 flywheel hp is prolly not much more then 230-ish wheel HP. Not really much of a HP increase over anyone else, more so just the RPM, which is nice.

XX2#@$%!:-{}

ok guys, take 300 hp and give your self a 10% drive train loss for a manual and you get 270rwhp

take a 15% loss for a built auto and you get 255 rwhp.

and to make matters more comparable, i have used the BD crazy larry before and this PPE walks the dog on the BD by far! at least it did on wades truck.

We have always rated our products the way the engine manufactures have rated theirs (at the crank), We have done the testing to support our claims. We dont hide the way we rate our stuff, it says it in the same line and the horsepower and torque figures.

I have never claimed it made more power then anybody elses tune, I only told you guys the features of it... .

maybe there not understanding that the current tune thats availible is the low timing tune.

the race tune will be the 300hp version for sure. give it a few weeks it will be ready. :D

umm i run the PPE hot 3700 and I personally feel i need springs BAD. wade i'll be in touch with you to get my PPE updated to the latest PPE HOT 2. your price was cheap. but i dont mean to throw any foreign material in anyones gears but umm. i cant seem to keep a transmission with PPE Hot 1. SRY WADE IT BROKE AT 11PM AND I DIDNT WANT TO CALL YA. look for either simpsons towing or two trucks in tandem coming out there. OD is broke among others. that was the last time my truck gets loaned to anyone other than a racer with common sense. biggest mistake of my life. hey robert/wade somebody in regards to roberts truck pm me. I have a 48RE n I am ready to can it this time and rob your playing on the strip i heard and cant get off the line in a straight drive. let me know that may fix my problems so I can keep buying more power from yal. goodnight morning w/e i will b calling u later tom. wade... . zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Can you stack this program and just use it for the rpm's? I would like to have more rpm's. And everything else is working good at this time.

X2 -- I am the same, I dont really need anymore daily driving HP - I just want to get more RPM so I am not shifting soooo quick

i think that this program is going to benifet the manual trucks very nicely. i too agree that not shifting so soon would be awesome. i think i could have done alittle better today if i had that kind of rpm. and a SBC DD.

For what its worth, with all of this screwing arround why wouldnt you go with one of teds p-pump conversions and make all the power your wallet can put out?

In the end I think its about the HP vs. the drivability...

Thus a 950hp common rail is ok on the street, yet a P7100 would be crazy...
