Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 42K and "0" Defects

Just finished a RT from Anchorage to Utah towing a 24' toy-box loaded with ultralights. -30 going down and

-60 Coming back. @ -60 my brakes and clutch were so stiff I had to speed shift and rely on the electric trailer brakes to slow me down on the hill and corners. Once I was out of Canada and back on American Diesel all my warning lights went back out. The mileage was back up to around 13/14 and my brakes and clutch started working again. I love this Dodge. 42000 Miles and never been in the shop.

70k +, alignment @ 500, clock spring. Trans weak from other things.

Nearly five years and 35k on my 99QC AT. Mostly all miles towing my 5ER. Never been back to dealer,except for the trailer hitch recall. Never had a defect. I do all my service very careful and often.

70k, no problems, tow 28' goosneck with machinery around FL. accept a ball joint.

last time I boasted no problems the lift pump went out! I just keep quite now and enjoy.

well im not bosting, just sharig my expereinces, i forgot about my display going out on me, but it was covered, and luckly im installing a new fuel system this weekend!

I have ~79K miles, original lift pump and clock spring have been my only problems.

It's under the steering wheel and is a set of electrical contacts for the horn cruise and air bag
