Would a 727 from a 89 Ram fit in place of the 46RE??? bg

Nope-- the 727 is shorter, as it doesn't have the OD. But it will bolt up, and if you rework the driveshaft(s), it could be made to work. A 3speed auto with a CTD is a bad idea, imho.

This one is a 96 Gas rig with a 360 engine. It's a work truck aand seldom gets out of town. bg
