Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 47 re does not want to shift

You will need to lift off the pedle to get her to shift.

we replaced the shaft speed sensor behind the pan on the drivers side with no luck.

she still slips

what can I try next before we get a new transmission?#@$%!

Does it shift ok manually thru the gears?. If it does that usually points to the governor solenoid and pressure transducer.

we put in a new speed sensor still the same

Be aware the governor solenoid and pressure transducer is not cheap. I did mine about 2 years ago and a dealer only item. With both items I think it ran about $200. 00. You have to drain the trans, remove the pan, remove the filter and unbolt the solenoid and transducer. Does the trans shift ok manually thru the gears starting in first?
