Yup! All good to go here:)

Lot's of Suncoast goodies including a triple disk converter:-laf

Made a HUGE difference in the way the truck drives.

It's really not a bad swap. We had to use a bellhousing adapter from a '95 and also the '95 starter. So, it moved everything back about an inch. I set the xmember back a set of holes and made that work and built a adapter plate for the carrier bearing. Both driveshaft's worked without any mods. A little custom tweaking on the t-case shifter and it's good to go!

The wiring wasn't all that bad. we were able to find all the sensors that need to talk to the PCM that we pulled from a 2001. If anybody needs them I have a diagram I'd be happy to share.

Over all I'm VERY happy with the result! I swapped on a 14cm wastgated exhaust housing at the same time which got me a little more power and less smoke.

DDP stage 4's, 3k spring kit, 60# valve springs, a HTT 64/16SS and some happy gas are up next!

Watch out Kurt, you're not the only guy hoping to be in the 12's at Truckfest in a 1st gen!:D (but your probably the only one that will make it!)

jkeith,

can you give me some info on the wiring/sensors. I want to convert to an auto and may have a 47re donor truck sitting beside mine but it would be nice to know exactly what parts to be snagging from the donor truck.

Thanks!

Jason

jKeith,

I'm considering doing the same swap, any details you could provide would be much appreciated. Did you do it all yourself? Did the fuel mileage change?

Thanks
