47re oil pump converter seal placement

Can anyone verify the correct placement of the converter seal... when disassembled it was as in picture removed. The atsg manual picture (#60) looks as if it's the opposite with the flat facing down.

Yes I see that spring and thanks for confirming as I just confirmed elsewhere also that someone installed it wrong.
