i see that i can buy a od housing, can i use all the internals from my 2wd od housing in the 4wd od housing? just change out the output shaft?

The 2wd trans housing is different than the 4wd trans housing (unless you are converting to 4wd).

i am converting to 4wd. i think im just going to try to find someone that wants to swap housing's or sell a 4wd one

No, the internal are different also.
