hello everyone, I have a question on the tc lockup on a 47re.
normal driving, shifts normal, it seems to stumble on tc lock-up. it almost acts like it desides to start locking the tc, rpm is starting to drop as lock up is engaged (maybe 150-200rpm). . , desides that it is not going to engage, rpm comes back up, and after a couple of seconds engages full lock up, rpm drops 600 or so. Once it locks up fully it does not drop out or hunt and works like it is supposed to. This seem to be more so under light throttle, under moderate throttle it seems to work better/normal. I guess is what my question is what determines when the tc needs to lock up, is it electrical, valving in the VB, is there an electical component that is acting up or is linepressure in the tranmission low??
transmission was just seviced and bands adjusted, made it shift better, but did not change anything with this problem
thanks for input
Pete
