I've got a 1999 RAM 2500 4WD, 3. 5,47RE, no mods yet, 103,000 miles & have been experiencing intermittent shifting problems between 2 & 3 when cold. It's only happened 3 times in the past 3-4 weeks but I'm afraid it's the start to something larger. I typically drive approx 2-3 miles before getting on the freeway & when getting on the on-ramp it shifts normally from 1-2 & then holds 2nd way too long... . Got the RPM's up to 2400-2600 today, let off the throttle, re-accelerated & then it went into 3rd & then lockup. Ran fine approx. 30 miles to work with no problems. After work I typically have no problems what so ever... .

Any ideas what could cause this? Electronics? Hard or soft parts of the trans? I know..... DTT, ATS, BD... .....

Thanks

Clay
