Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 47rh or 47re?

I'm looking at a 96 trans and was need to know what transmission they used in the 96 thanks

96 and later used RE. 94-95 used the RH. To be absolutely sure, pull the connector on the drivers side of the trans that is above the P/N switch. The P/N switch connector is horizontal. The plug you want to look at is vertical. If is has 3 pins it is the RH, if it has an eleven pin connector it is the RE. The P/N switch also has 3 pins so make sure you are pulling the right one. If in doubt pull both.
