Mike,

I posted a listing of my conversion experience back in April. The title was "47RH installation in the first gen". If I do it right the link to it will be below.

In this post I mention replacing the starter. I have since found out that the nose housing for the 94 and up starter will fit on the 89 to 93 starter. It is a cheap component. local starter shop sells it for about $35.

The control box I mentioned to be under developement is currently on indefinate hold do to time and money constraints. The toggle switches I have installed seem to be working well.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Dfeland,

I used Pauls instructions to do the conversion. It wasn't that difficult. I've sence treated it to a DTT upgrade. Well worth the money. Lockup felt like an extra gear before the upgrade. Now, with the DTT stuff you can barely tell when it locks. I never, repeat NEVER use the lockup switch anymore. Well, that's not completely true... I used it this weekend as an engine break. Looking back, I would consider using a O/D transmission out of a 93. It isn't a lockup type and DDT is able to upgrade them. I think it is a 518... could be wrong though. Give Bill K. with DDT and ask him if it is a comparable transmission.

Well I feel like a bonehead, wrong #. I have a518 I'm trying to upgrade or change. Through Dodge dealers there are no a518's in the country.
