52,600 miles, no problems. Not nearly as smooth as the Allison I had in my Duramax,. 48RE is much "stiffer/clunkier", but no problems (yet). Jeff

I was pullin my boat up a 7% grade,converter started to slip slightly dropped her out of od and all was well. Boat weighs about 6600 lbs. with ezee box on 6. Ezee box was fun upgrade!!!!

12k miles on mine and working great. Towed 10k a couple of weeks ago and it didn't skip a beat!

Thrust Washer Problem?



Mine at 22,000 is fine, no problems. However after reading the "Designed to Fail" post some time ago I am really concerned. Is anyone else seeing any thrust washer problems????

28K miles and working great!

I have 28Kmiles on it. Took it in at 25K and had transmission fluid flush and service. Five-Star techs really improved performance and smoothed it out a lot with adjustment. Couldn't be happier.
