48re converter?

Does anyone know for a fact, if the converter is the same as the 47re. More specifically that the input to stator splines are the same. Or at the least has someone put an older 47re converter in a 48re and had no problems?

the input hub is different. 48Re has a seal on the reaction shaft. 47Re do not have the seal. I would make sure I had the right convertor for the right reaction shaft
