Morning

I have a 2006, 3500 with a 48RE that I just changed the Governor pressure solenoid, governor pressure transducer, output speed sensor, and the lock-up and overdrive solenoid assembly. That sure fixed the shuttle shift problem, but now I have a delayed 2-3 shift when accelerating. It will shift if you let off the accelerator and let it coast, then it will shift fine for the 3-4 shift. I'm not sure if I have a bad part. I checked the ttvr today and it is installed correctly. I checked for any codes. but there are none. The governor pressure solenoid is a Borg Warner unit that I bought at Cascade Transmission parts.

It might be the throttle valve. They have a tendency to stick. It is the valve for passing gear. And if it sticks it will hold the gear. Just a guess.

I pulled the Throttle valve actuator back out today to see if I installed it incorrectly but it was installed the way the manual said to. The only thing that i did notice was after in-gauging the shaft I had to turn the actuator to mount it.
I also pulled both battery cables off to see if that would reset everything, but it didn't. I'm wondering if the governor pressure solenoid is defective?

Just a quick update. I pulled the transmission pan and valve body to make sure that everything was ok. I inspected the throttle valve in the valve body to make sure it was not stuck or binding, no issues noted. I replaced the governor pressure solenoid again. I reinstalled the valve body and refilled the transmission, I was surprised it took 10 qts of fluid.
I went for a drive from side streets to freeway with normal shifting of all the gear. so I'm not sure what has fixed the shifting, if it was the governor pressure solenoid, or a sticking throttle valve.

My Ram started having delayed shifts too and check engine/MIL inidicated Throttle Valve Actuator problem. They replaced that. $454 from MOPAR for the part and 2 hours diagnosis/labor at a Mobile AL Transmission Shop this morning after encountering the shift problem on 1-65 in AL on our way to Theodore AL.

When you all say delayed shifts did it also shift normal at times but then sometimes drop down, RPM went up higher than normal to shift back say from 1st to 2nd as that is what my 03 is doing now after a camping trip pulling a trailer where I had no problems.
