48re
I know of two members who have had great luck with their 48re's. D/C upgraded these transmissions successfully over the 47re on my '99. That being said after driving a stock '06 auto after owning a DTT on my '99,the experience left me longing for the off-idle launch and firmer shifts. Wasn't going to happen unless I forked out the buckeroos to a DTT installer, thus my decision to go with the G-56 this time. Nice setup and Southbend is waiting in the wings with my next clutch. If I was Jay Leno I'd still have the '99 and my new '07,just couldn't afford both.
