My 2003 3500 Ram w 48re auto trans is behaving badly at slow speeds. While running at +/- 30 mph it will shift up and down between 2nd and 3rd wildly. It also acts like the torque converter is locking. It acts fine when cold, but exhibits this behavior when warm. At higher speeds, and under heavy throttle it acts fine. It is going into the dealer tomorrow. Anybody have experience with this?

I'm not sure I'd describe it as "wildly," but mine does the 3-2 shift at around 30 mph too, as have a number of trucks I've tested. It's very annoying, but may be the nature of the beast.

My 05 was shifting 1-3,3-2,3-2,3-2 and so on at lite throttle and didn't seem to know what gear it wanted to use. The dealer installed a accelerator positioning switch and a govenor solenoid seems to helped it out but did not cure it, just made it better. Hope this helps.
