Leaving on a 1000 mile (11K tow) for vacation tomorrow. While changing oil tonight I noticed red droplets of fluid forming on bottom front of trans housing (at access cover).

I told my dealer about this 8000 miles ago, but he wrote it off to blowby. Now it is obviously red fluid collecting. It isn't dripping enough to leave anything on the driveway yet... but Im wondering if I should put off my vacation, or just take some fluid along and check it every so often?

If I break down Dodge pays for the tow right? 48,000 and counting... still in warranty.

Would really appreciate your input or experiences before I leave tomorrow morning.

I will definitely be watching the fluid level.

Anyone have an idea what may be leaking? Or what commonly wears out prematurely in the front of an auto that will show up first as a slow leak?
