I am installing gages on my 03 ho w/auto trans and I don't want to cut the wrong line to install a line manifold. Logic tells me the trans fluid travels out the front line to the water to oil heat exchanger then to the air to oil cooler at front of truck then back to rear of trans,is this correct?

Also I have the boost gage hooked up and I only reading 22psi. is this right for stock engine I thought some guys were saying the waste gate opens at 27psi for a stock high output? I ask because the isspro gage was opened when I received it and I guess it was probability sent back once and who knows how many times the delivery guy kicked it around his truck.

Can't tell you about which transmission line to use, I installed Geno's dipstick sensor. The boost on my truck has gone up to a maximum of 26 psi but normally runs 22 - 24 under most lead foot situations.

Fluid from transmission goes out the front line, and returns to the transmission at the rear near the overdrive unit.

But honestly, a Mag-Hytec transmission pan is the best idea, since the best place for the sender is the pan, and theirs is already tapped for a sender, and you don't have to cut into a line to do so.
