48RE shifting problems "start in 2nd"?

Curious how much harder on second gear (band) is it?

Lot of TQ on a flex band that isn't that great to begin with. It definitely is not GOOD for it.

Well another piece of info i left out. One day after this "start in second gear happened...i was on the highway and traffic caused us to slow down and when i accelerated again the truck would not shift past 2nd gear...i had to get over....damgerously and when i pulled into a parkingg lot shut off truck and started back up all worked fine.

Conditions are weird.
-Truck now barely does the shift it is almost immediate at like 1-4mph when it does do it.
-the bump has decreases in firmness and violent harshness.
-trans temps are not high (150 on highway ambient temp ranging 35-55)
-manual 1st it never does it.
-does not do it until the truck warms up and has made a fair amount of dead stop accelerations.
-seems to have a relation to harshness of stopping.(if i gradually brake and very slowly accelerate or let it idle roll for a bit it will not do it)

Just put in new governor GM solenoid and transducer as of this evening. The above are per since.
