48RE Spline count

Does anyone know if the 48RE output spline count is the same as the 47re?? Also, will a 47RE bolt up to the newer NV271 t-cases that originally had a 48RE??? Help Please!!!

same spline count, the output shafts are identical. 47Re will bolt to a nv271, and 48RE will bolt to a 241
